A rock pinnacle rising through a channel between Komodo and Tatawa. Coral cover is among the densest in Indonesia because the current feeds it constantly. Diving is confined to the lee side of the pinnacle and divers must not round the corner — the down-currents on the exposed face are genuinely dangerous. Guides time the dive to the tide and abort freely.

By dive boat or liveaboard from Labuan Bajo, around 90 minutes.
