Punta Vicente Roca sits under the collapsed flank of Ecuador Volcano on Isabela's north-west corner, and the water is cold — the Cromwell Current upwells here at 16 °C or less, which is why the sunfish come. Marine iguanas graze the shallow algae and are the point of the dive: they hold their breath for minutes, feed on the rock, and are the only sea-going lizard there is. Green turtles rest in numbers in the same shallows. Deeper the wall drops into cold green water where mola mola come up to be cleaned.

Liveaboard only, on the western Galápagos itinerary. There is no land access to this coast of Isabela.
